Be a volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of our movement. By joining the KYOKAN Support Network, you can make a significant difference by providing communicative English and Japanese language skills through continuous interaction with both foreign and Japanese residents in Japan.
In Africa, volunteers will support elementary school teachers with classroom activities, afterschool programs, parent and teacher capacity-building programs, and other school community initiatives to create a conducive learning environment for quality education and sustainable development—crucial for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Volunteering is one of the most rewarding ways to contribute through the KYOKAN Support Network. By becoming a KYOKAN Support Volunteer, you can make friends, learn new skills, advance your career, and even feel happier and healthier.
